Plate of interlocked cubic crystals (to 4 cm on edge) with gorgeous deep-purple phantoms at crystal core and outer-edges pale purple to nearly colorless; some faces sprinkled with tiny calcite dogtooths (to 5 mm) and grains of brassy pyrite; underside is clearly attach point with cleavage surfaces, whiter color, and often massive fluorite; minimal dings on two or three of fluorite cubes
