Welcome to MyMinerals 1.0, the first complete solution for managing a mineral, rock, or fossil collection. This application for MacOS X provides tools to organize and describe the specimens in a collection (as well as keep photographs), to print labels and collection books, and to publish a collection as a complete web site.

For those with a deeper interest in geology, there is a field notes section that can track collecting sites and the specimens collected on trips to those locations.

An extensible library of minerals, rocks, and fossils is included, which can grow as you add specimens that are not part of the base library -- which is culled from information in classic texts and on the internet. In addition, all modules enable XML import and export that simplifies the sharing of library and collection data.
